What makes you the best person for your job?
My expertise represents more than 13 years of translation and interpretation, both consecutive and simultaneous. This includes more than 7 years of translation/ interpretation on a daily basis as part of the staff of two large American comanies operating in Russia. My unique skills and knowledge extend far beyond "desk" work and come from actively working out in the field side by side with executives and industry professionals in all the areas of the operations. My areas of expertise are very unique and include: Agricultural Manufacturing, Animal Nutrition, Biochemistry, Feed and Grain Operations, Food Processing and Further Processing, QA/QC, SSOPs, Poultry Live Production, Transportation and Fleet, Veterinary Science.
What is your best project so far? Why?
Developing and authoring a set of company-wide technical and operational documentation in English and Russian, covering all major operational areas of the company. This project allowed me to work independently while consulting with the experts, summarizing the knowledge I've acquired through years of work. The true satisfaction comes from how needed and applicable the result was: the documentation enabled the company to standardize processes, aid in certification of product and services, and establish a system for staff training.
