What makes you the best person for your job?
I love it when a student comes to a conclusion by himself/herself: the face lights up, the eyes glow, and sometimes there's a gasp of astonished surprise. That's a wonderful feeling for a teacher! And, I never yell.
What is your best project so far? Why?
In 2007 I had the privilege of co-conducting a language class for people who had never heard the language before. During the first session, it was so gratifying to see and hear the students become enthusiastic about the language, and to hear them learn a simple greeting. I care about my students, and do not give up on them.
What do your students / customers say about you?
My students enjoy my classes very much. Even years later they will come up to me and tell me how relevant their studies have been in their later usage of the language. |
