What makes you the best person for your job?
I am a likeable, humourous person, with a vast range of experience in a wide variety of fields in both the the commercial and academic world. I am very flexible as to where I work. It can be from my office, online, or as a mission on site anywhere in the world. You decide.
What is your best project so far? Why?
I was contracted by three German companies to act as translator/interpreter for them for a landfill project ión Luzon, Philippines. My experience gained training to be a chartered accountant saved them many hundreds of thousands of dollars because I was able to spot significant legal errors in the contracts I was translating for the project. I was also able to save time and money because of my ability to understand American English, which was not immediately understandable for the Germans concerned. My understanding of the Filipino culture helped further in explaining significant points to my contractual partners in Germany.
