Why Me?

What makes you the best person for your job?
I am a self-motivated and organized individual who has experience and understanding in working with English as an International language as well as a lifetime of experience of being a speaker of English as a native language. When I was a student of English in a non-native speaking country, I graduated at the top of my class in English Literature and Linguistics and developed a deep appreciation for the growing position of English as an International Language( EIL) in global world communications, Therefore, I strive to further develop innovative ways to best help others succeed in English with respect towards various cultural and/or lingual diversities.

What is your best project so far? Why?
I was employed as the Admissions Coordinator for RES The School for Renewable Energy Science in Iceland. This school was operated entirely in English. I coordinated admission information and maintained contact with candidates and students from around the world in International English. This communication was both in writing and oral. I also did copy-edit work for the student´s Master´s theses and maintained the website, wrote a student handbook and conducted English learning workshops to assist students in using the best English possible in their theses as well in their studies.
