Why Me?
What makes you the best person for your job?
As an American who’s been living in France since 1994, I have an extensive knowledge of the French language, people and culture. I also have 14 years of hands-on experience as a FR>EN technical translator. I entered the translation profession in 1998, when I landed a job as an in-house translator at a small agency in Lyon. There, I gained valuable experience not only in translating, proofreading and terminology research but also in DTP and customer relations. I made the transition to freelancing in 2010.
